A manifesto for a more wondrous age.

Hello. It has been a while, hasn’t it? I’d like to be the first to welcome you to the next stage in Monochromatic. You’ll notice it’s a new URL, mnchrm.co. A fresh start requires a new name. And a whole new design, courtesy of Fueko. This transmission is coming to your live from Tokyo, where my server is located. Sadly, I’ve yet to join it in person yet. Maybe one day, little buddy.

Don’t worry my friends; all your favorite posts of mine are still here. I’m still working out the organization system, so things might be a little messy, but that’s what this was all about. I wanted to get my hands into the mud and make some changes, and I’ll be damned if I don’t do that. So sorry for the loose tags, and at-times lower resolution images than I’d prefer. All will become clear in time.

As for me, things are mostly the same. I moved into a new apartment, and became really busy the last couple of months on freelance work (which at times eclipsed even a full-time job). I’m hoping things will settle down a bit for me to work on the website, as well as trying to work on my book. I’ve put a little half-hearted effort into a NaNoWriMo book, and will decide this week if I should go all in or put it to the wayside.

I’ve got a lot of new posts planned, and of course there is much to discuss. This was just to get my feet wet with you all again, and in a way, to remember what these sorts of posts are about. It was a long time to be quiet for me too! I’m excited to open this dialogue again, and to see where this new vessel take us.

So I encourage you to poke around, scroll through some of your old favorites, and let me know what you think. As always, I'm open to any suggestions you may have.

Thanks for sticking with me, and let’s build something beautiful together.

Your faithful commander,
— I
