A Manifesto for a More Wondrous Age

I’ve spent the past week (or two, or more) making a new apartment livable from scratch, which is another way to say, rebuilding our life. As with the Elric brothers listing out the ingredients that go into a person, it’s a distinct and strange feeling to see everything that makes up an apartment listed out on a spreadsheet—so cut and dry. Of course, there are plenty of things you never consider until you get into a new space, and see what it is you need.

This is Refrakt, a bi-weekly newsletter from Ian J. Battaglia on curiosity, creativity, and (hopefully!) insight, through the lens of photography, writing, study, art and beauty, and my life.
