Heed my tale of ignorance:
I finally found my old logs from when I was last lifting weights seriously, now over two years ago. Previously, I had a solid routine, with a limited set of exercises, each session increasing the weight slightly. This has a number of advantages. For one, it’s easy to tell you’re getting stronger. You do the same thing, but the PR weight you struggled with two weeks ago is now part of your warm-up—there’s no doubt.
